FREE Tickets Open Tomorrow! Children’s Lunar New Year Showcase 🎉

⏰ Registration opens tomorrow — January 21 at 8:00 AM
🎟 FREE admission | RSVP required

We’re excited to announce that FREE tickets for our Children’s Lunar New Year Showcase will be available tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM!

This special event is CCST’s first large-scale theater showcase, bringing children and families together to celebrate Lunar New Year through language, culture, and performance. 🌟

✨ Important Seating Note
Due to limited theater seating, children ages 7 and under must sit on a parent or guardian’s lap, helping us welcome more families into the space. Thank you for your understanding!

🎫 Plans changed after registering?
All tickets are FREE, and cancellations can be made easily through our registration system. Once a ticket is released, it becomes available to another family automatically.

Traditional Chinese Opera Mask Painting at Our Lunar New Year Cultural Fair!

One of the hands-on activities at our Lunar New Year Cultural Fair is Chinese opera mask painting — kids get to paint their own pre-made mask using bold colors and creative designs.

In Chinese culture, opera masks are full of personality and symbolism, and this activity lets children explore that tradition in a fun, family-friendly way — no face painting needed, just art, imagination, and a mask to take home!

Christmas Story Time in Chinese — This Saturday! 🎅📚

We’re excited to celebrate the holiday season with a Christmas-themed Chinese Story Time this Saturday at South County Library!

Join us for festive stories, holiday vocabulary, music, and a fun, hands-on art activity for kids.

🎨 Special Holiday Art Activity (RSVP Required)
At the end of the event, we’ll teach children how to create beautiful ink-and-water “diffusion painting” (晕染画):
• Older children will paint a Christmas tree
• Younger children can paint colorful Christmas lights
(Examples shown in the photos!)

📝 RSVP is required ONLY if your child will participate in the art activity, so we can prepare the right amount of materials.

If you’re just joining us for the story time portion, no RSVP needed — just come and enjoy!
